Course Description

(The class is suitable for tarot readers of all levels.) Step off of the well-trodden Tarot-reading paths, and channel your own, individual oracle voice in this intensive 2-part collaborative course bringing together the expertise of Maria Alviz Hernando (The Sibyl Tarot) and Denis Poisson (Foolish Fish) who join forces to guide you through a surgical evaluation of your current practice, and help you build a unique, personal reading style. Lesson 1: Conventional and Unconventional reading styles - The mechanics of Tarot: Popular theories vs how we think tarot works as well as it does. - Personal favourite methods and methods that don't work/haven't worked for us - The parts of a tarot read: the shuffle, the draw, the spread the read - Exploring popular vs innovative methods for each Lesson 2: Developing your own reading style - Essential and less essential aspects of a read - Divinities traditionally associated with divination - Guided meditation to receive blessings and inspiration for a personal method. (Optional) - Divination for receiving your own method and trying your personalised method out. - Trying out different methods for yourself The course will consist of 2x 90 minute classes held over Zoom (a free zoom account will be required). Each session will reserve 20-30 minutes for a live Q&A. A recording of each session will be sent to all participants via email within 24 hours of the class being taught.
